Terms of Service

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Plain English summary: PluginCheck gives you a dated, version-pinned report about WordPress plugins. It's information, not security advice — you stay in charge of your own sites. If we get something wrong, tell us and we'll re-check within 10 business days. Paid plans (when live) are billed through Paddle.

1. Who we are

PluginCheck is operated by Seedloop, a sole proprietorship based in Massachusetts, USA ("Seedloop", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@seedloop.studio. These terms bind Seedloop and its successors and assigns — if Seedloop changes its legal form (for example, to a limited liability company) or transfers the service, these terms continue with the successor entity and your rights are unaffected.

2. The service

PluginCheck currently offers a free published report on WordPress plugin health and an early-access request form. A paid subscription for agencies (currently planned at $29/month per agency, unlimited sites) may launch later. When it does, payments will be processed by Paddle.com, who acts as merchant of record — Paddle is the seller of record for those transactions, and Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms apply to your purchase alongside these terms.

3. What our reports are — and are not

4. Corrections and right of reply

If you are a plugin vendor (or anyone) who believes a report contains an error, email hello@seedloop.studio with the plugin name, version, and the specific claim you dispute. We commit to re-checking the observation and updating or annotating the report within 10 business days of a substantiated request. Disputed findings are re-run against the same methodology; if the facts have changed or we were wrong, the report says so, with the correction dated.

5. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the service at abusive volume, misrepresent our reports as your own, republish reports in a way that strips their date and version context, or use the service to harass plugin vendors. We may suspend access for abuse.

6. Accounts and subscriptions

When paid plans launch: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy and Paddle's buyer terms. We may change prices with at least 14 days' notice before your next renewal.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seedloop's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (which is zero for free users). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and for paid subscribers, notified by email before they take effect at your next renewal.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before any formal proceeding, please contact us at hello@seedloop.studio — most issues are fixable in one email. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights in your country of residence.
